In 2001, Vergeer Kaas began working with M&C Energy Group to streamline their expenditure across the utilities electricity, gas and water.

After analysing the total water costs within the company, M&C Energy Group implemented wastewater measurements to determine where savings could be realised on their soaring wastewater charges.

M&C Energy Group subsequently identified potential for reduction of wastewater charges for Vergeer Kaas, which resulted in savings of €35.070 pa. In addition, after implementing the measurement on historical data a further saving of €48.471 was achieved.
